EMERGING FOOD BUSINESS ACCELERATOR PROGRAM WITH LOCAL GROCERY RETAILER

In partnership with a multi-store co-op grocery retailer, Food Works Group’s Emily Paul led the conceptualization, development, and implementation of the Maker to Market emerging local food business accelerator, which included a needs assessment, small business benchmarking survey, program criteria and core services selection, public relations and media strategy, implementation plan, and two-year program oversight and iteration. She helped to steward three cohorts of food entrepreneurs through a 90-day pre-production workshop series that addressed brand assessment, packaging, merchandising and retail to prepare for future investment and production scale, resulting in positive financial impact for each stakeholder (farmer, food business, and retailer).
